Hydrator/Water Filter
Is your horse sensitive to changes in drinking water?
The Horse Hydrator Water Filter System encourages your horse to drink more by effectively removing the chlorine, soluble heavy metals, iron and hydrogen sulfide from drinking water.
Horses do have a tremendous sense of smell and taste, and can pick up foreign substances in their water which can cause them to stop drinking, resulting in dehydration. This can be a problem particularly when away from home at shows, etc. The Horse Hydrator provides an easy and affordable way to eliminate strange tastes and smells from water, making it more palatable to your horse, thereby helping to keep your horse well hydrated and at its peak performance, especially when travelling or competing at events.
The system is small, compact and affordable, with each unit good for an average filtration of approximately 11,350 litres of water, or 4 months.
Depending on the connections on your hose, you may need to purchase an adaptor to attach the Horse Hydrator to your hose. The Universal Adaptor pictured below will fit and can be purchased from your local hardware store.
